I still haven’t managed to fix the Internet Explorer issues, but they should be bearable now… at least the comments don’t run off when I hover over them Fixed! Now if I could just stop the textarea from suddenly expanding

Thanks to following Jem’s tutorial on basic meta tags, Google’s been generating a decent number of hits. Now don’t get all excited: by decent I mean about 2-3 per day. Still, I’m not exactly sure if it’s a good thing or not, as people tend to come here with some very weird obsessions.
Most people tend to be curious about how soon they can ‘abuse’ newly pierced ears;
Others keep wondering how exactly to apply alcohol to their ears (pierced ears);
And more recently someone’s earring hurts
Still, to appease my unreasonably inflated ego, some actually seek me out for web design related issues, such as:
Ladybug layouts
As well as life complicating issues such as floating a div tag using javascript with scrolling up and down (because we really and truly want to have a div tag follow our every move…)
Still the most scandalous of all: funny facts on sleeping during school. I’ll have you know that I DO NOT sleep during school!
I mean, all that effort to merely zone out, as opposed to blatantly whipping out a pillow and indulge, should be mightily appreciated. Though… when have I ever talked about sleeping at school… :?

Maybe you said, “I slept last night, and then went to school in the morning.” I’ve found stuff like that on my site. You should write an article about how to crack facebook passwords. That seriously took my hits and blew them out of the water. I already had a lot of people searching for how to do so, but now I have people searching for how to do so and finding an “answer.” :grin:
Heh, I get a fair number of hits from Google as well, and apparently, the most common search keyword happens to be “Brenda”. I’m touched that people actually know of my existence! Hahahaha!
Anyway, I am loving this design. The colour combination just did something for me somehow, and I like how organized it looks.
Lastly, should I mention that I sleep in school on average 2-3 times a week? -hides.
Was I ever in school? I must have slept away the experience. One time I was sent to the principal because I snored - and he asked me why I was sleeping during the class and I had to answer that I slept because I was tired. Obviously that answer was correct because I wasn’t scolded he just said “fair enough”… Maybe he had more important stuff to do.
My most popular search term is NAN (or Not a number) and “stupid husband” - my husband doesn’t think it’s as hilarious as I do.
@Brenda: I never said that these were the most common search terms. Most of the time people either search for Vera/vera, it all comes down to or a combination of these two. :cool: Also, I am glad you like the new design. To me, it mostly says cucumbers
maybe your headmaster just had to tick an activity on his task chart
@Nan:
Poor husband - you torture him :smile:
Haha. I should blog about search terms too.
Lately someone found my site with ‘how egyptologists do their job’.
What that has to do with my blog is the question of the day!
:roll: One can only wonder… I got the idea, from Kimmie, who posts such things regularly. It’s always fascinating to see how much people seem to be interested in cracking Facebook. What’s so important in there?? :???:
Though you should’ve seen how much blogging about my somewhat botched-up attempt at replacing my surgical earrings boasted my hits. People need to get a life…
