Since it seems that all my “interesting” blog ideas tend to evaporate when I want to write them down, here’s a conversation between dad and me, yesterday.

Dad: Let’s eat at a restaurant.
Me(hopefully): The Japanese one?
Dad: I’m not eating dead fish again.
Me: I wasn’t aware you generally ate live fish.

Dad glares at me meaningfully.

Obviously he meant to say raw… but me and nitpicking were never content with just website reviews

Question: What other Japanese delicacies are there to try? Last time I was there, we ordered an insane amount of sushi which was obviously not a very good idea. So any of you who tried it, and want to share impressions, please do.
