It IS really awkward coming across people when you go to public restrooms. Where I work, I have to do bathroom checks every now and then and I never know if I should greet customers when I see them coming out of the stalls or just not say anything. I try my best to stay away from coffee (at least when I’m at work) to avoid embarrassing restroom encounters. Haha

I know exactly what you mean! I remember insisting for my fourteen year old older sister to tell me how babies were made when I was five or six, and then regretting it. Sometimes, it is far better to be ignorant!

I can’t think of one right now… But I know I’ve felt that way before - wanting to remain ignorant about things that are either too disgusting or too disturbing to remember. ^_^;;

LOL! I’ve always been aware of awkwardness in public restrooms. I try to avoid them at all costs!! However, when toting my 3 year old around, I can’t always avoid them. They smell so bad, and there’s always someone in a stall grunting and farting.

Hehehe, it’s all psychological. Once someone brings something to your attention - all the more you’re likely to notice it, which is why suddenly it seems as if it’s happening all the time.

In response to your question - should I actually make a list of things I’d prefer never to have known about, it’d probably circle the entire world three times, so I’d better not start.
