About Lianko.com
Name and Purpose
Lianko - is the phonetisation of a mispronounced Hungarian word (léanyka = little girl; young lady).
Léanyka is pronounced: la (as late) un (as under) ca (as calm).
Wishing to sound funny, my dad always distorted the word's pronounciation into: lee (as leer) un (as under)
co (as cold).
As far as my purpose goes, I obviously aim to conquer the Internet one visitor at a time. Don't we all? Of course, as it is more seemly to have a different official reason... I believe my inane ramblings can amuse or sometimes even teach my visitors something new. They are mostly coding related, but I try to appeal to all kinds of visitors. So who knows: there may very well be something for you as well.
Current Skin Disease
... officially refered to as current layout.
The two red shapes in the top left corner are supposed to be chess pawns. They don't really have any deeper meaning, aside a decorational one. Initially, I had wanted to create the impression that this is the site of a stylish and smart person... but then my artistic skills were not particularly keen on cooperating, so now you just have two red shapes.
In a fit of extreme inspiration, I named this layout Chess. I know, I know: I'm so clever, I even scare myself.
Technical Information
I'm hosted by Redhost, a Romanian company. So far it's been very helpful in all my issues, therefore I'm quite satisfied with it.
