She had a very good point about my layout, but the fact that she misspelled 'grammar' (twice - which proves it's not a slip-up) is rather disconcerting, considering she was grading me on it.
Design [17/20]:
I love how simple your layout is. The gradient in the background looks great. I don't like how at the top of the blog you have "It all comes down to..." in Scriptina and is kind of cut off at the top. If you would move it down a pixel or 2 it wouldn't be cut off like that. Also I can't even read what it says in Scriptina under the main layout graphic. Scriptina can be a really pretty font, and go nicely with almost any type of layout, but when it is small and bunched up like that it just looks crappy and unreadable. I think that it would have looked fine if you would have made it a bigger font size though. And I like how you have the div layers transparent so that the gradient shows through. There really isn't anything else I could think of for your to improve your layout. It's cute, and simple.
The 'cut off' text is proof of my lazyness and so is the unreadable text; I like that brush too much... I guess.
Updates [8/10]:
It seems that you update about every 4 days, which isn't bad. It's better then be, but since all that is on your site is your blog I think that it would be better if you updated every day or 2, unless there is something going on so you don't have the time to update that much.
Easier said than done. I rather prefer having few but at least somewhat interesting updates.

Your grammer was good, you spreak in real English and not Internet language, and you actually use capitalizations and punctuation. Good for you.
You, however, mispelled 'grammar'.
