A thorough criticism of my layout, but precious little about the content.
Hello. I'm Mayonaka, and I'll be your reviewer for today. I currently use Internet Explorer 6 Browser. I check with both resolution 800x600 AND 1024x768 pixels. Btw, I'm a hardass on the layout part.
First Impression - 4/5
My first thoughts, "Ew, a bug." Sorry, I do not like bugs. Ladybugs are okay, but some of us are scared of bugs. (WHICH I'M NOT -pants-) Anywho, I won't take points off for the bug, but I'm not entirely impressed upon entering.
Layout/Graphic - 22/30
Your layout isn't that attractive. Not just because it's a bug, but it doesn't have much... beautifying techniques. The simplicity doesn't attract me much, and it doesn't captivate me either. It doesn't have the "I wanna stare at this work of art all day" factor.
I sure hope you won't stare at the layout the whole day. My content's much more interesting.
No worries, as long as it's not ugly. It's just fine. It's pretty original though. I don't see too many bug themed layouts on many sites. It's always those anime ones with the annoying looking little girls on them... Gah. Your layout is a relief to them. Well, at least the colour scheme doesn't include much obnoxious orange to match the bug. But maybe adding a little bit of orange to match the ladybug. It looks a bit "off". Shades of green are nice. But overall, it's fine. Navigation can be easily found, which is really good. Your layout is very organized overall.
Originality/Creativity - 27/30
As I said before, your layout is somewhat original. Well, at least the banner is. Your layout format is standard. Creativity points go to your navigation for having those arrows & description of the links & "YOU ARE VISITING______" links. And not to mention the link-names themselves. They're not the "ME", "YOU", "EXIT" and the oh-so overrated titles. Your content has earn originality points as well for being ... so sarcastic. I don't know whether that makes sense or not. But you put your personality into the content.
Why would you find sarcasm original? Quite a few webmasters are sarcastic these days.
However, your site isn't that creative and original. It wasn't "it blew me away" original, but "you didn't copy anyone's ideas & you fused your own personality into it" original.
So if I didn't copy anything why isn't it original, and in light of these isn't it obvious that the ideas are my own?

Your content is user/kid friendly. I didn't find any mechanical errors.

Your way of speech is very professional. There are no broken links. You make yourself clear AND you have a small intro in the beginning to warn viewers "what to expect". You've given full disclaimers and credits which is very good. Your content is very well done.
In other words, you didn't read my content, but couldn't really say it, so you settled for some ambiguous praise.
Overall - 8 points
Layout is okay. Organization is great. Content is great. Originality & Creativity is fine. I liked your site overall. Return factor? Yes, I would come back, occasionally.
