… of my personal1 work supplied computer chair, to be more precise.
For some odd reason, my office chairs keep getting switched about. The current one seems rather attached as of late, though. Of course, once you try sitting on it, you can instantly tell why. It is an extremely ambitious chair. I’d wager to say, it’s practicing some sort of subtle social climbing. You might think you’re sitting on it, but soon enough your position is corrected. In other words, you tend to find yourself on the brink of falling off of it.
Every time I so much as I leave it, the chair will get 2cm taller. I wonder if the constant yoyo-ing I have to practice on an hourly basis is an intended benefit. You know… sedentary work, with lack of exercise and such.
Do you have weird office ‘tools’ which have suddenly seemed to get a mind of their own?

Apparently packing brings out the best in me. Better said: it seems to amuse others around me greatly. Then again, maybe this was just a side effect, of a day filled with stress and swearing at Internet Explorer. Oh yeah… and trying to do everything at the last possible minute also counted… probably
Cousin: You know . those shoes look like sneakers with high heels.
Me: Well… they ARE sneakers with high heels!…
Cousin is eagerly eying me as I’m emptying a jewelry box.
Cousin: And now, we shall witness the complicated process of choosing one’s earrings.
Me: … or simply, my inability to remember where I’ve stored the necklaces.Cousin is visibly disappointed, until I shove a simple pair of hoop earrings into my luggage.
Cousin (nodding sagely): Excellent choice!
Technically, I wasn’t quite this coherent… and I was planning a really surprising blog entry, but then this sounds so much more bloggable.

That said, I’m off to Greece. *cue frantic waving of white handkerchief*
There are times when I’m just not up to anything. Unfortunately, no one is ever going to pity me over a terrible sunburn. Most especially not, if lots of other people around me suffer of it. How do you perk up then? Apparently, setting a witty/mysterious status on your IM is the way to go.

Who knew I’d end up being embarrassed for not being a metal gear snake, of all things? o_O
