Past Layouts
These are the layouts that I used for my previous site "It all comes down to...", which was the predecessor of "Lianko".
Version 16 - Notes to self
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: An overturned Chinese container, colored highlighters and some papers.
- 0.2c: I wanted to make something both fun yet semi-professional and the same time, but the end result was something rather plain. If you'd ask me right now, I'd say it was boring, but during the time I used it I found it rather quaint... wel aside the light green links which were a pain to read =P. But then, who counts those?
- Online Period: March, 13th, 2007 - September, 29th, 2007
Version 15 - Crimson Elegance
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: Red flowers with green leaves
- 0.2c: A more elegant and accessible variant of version 14. The part of the header (on the left) that was overlapped by text made reading difficult, and in the end I got so sick of it, that I neglected the site for a month. Oh and the text on the top right says "skip navigation".
- Online Period: December, 10th, 2006 - March, 13th, 2007
Version 14 - Collector Wannabe
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: Jewelry box with necklaces
- 0.2c: Aside from a 'brief' struggle with the anti-alias feature in Photoshop, I had no problems with it. As such, it stands to reason that I have no idea what to say about it. Suffice to say that I liked the navigation enough to implement it in version 15 as well... to a certain degree.
- On-Line Period: August 28th, 2006 - December, 10th, 2006
Version 13 - Going Healthy
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: Vegetables and a bottle of pills
- 0.2c: My worst creation: lack of right border, artifical shadows, much too complicated coding and a total layout block, were not particularly conductive to success. It was my first attempt at a fluid layout... and as such: disastrous. The pills were for memory, taken during finals in hopes of miraculous marks.
- On-Line Period: July, 20th, 2006 - August, 28th, 2006
Version 12 - Of Blue Springs
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: Chillis in a penholder and flowers
- 0.2c: It should've been "lilac springs", but I was feeling somewhat blue at the time... so the title ended up blue. It wasn't particularly well designed, but I liked the concept. Unfortunately most people thought it was weird. Also, they found plain as well.
- On-Line Period: April, 28th, 2006 - July, 20th, 2006
