Past Layouts
Version 11: To Stop Time
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: My hand and clock
- 0.2c: My first 100% original layout: coding AND images. Creating it gave me a great feeling; everything being done with my own
effort. As far as the meaning goes, the hand was supposed to be trying to stop the the flow of time... yes I'm one of those persons who gets weird
ideas...
- On-Line Period: December, 31st, 2005 - April, 28th, 2006
Version 10 - Greening
- Type: CSS
- Featuring: Stock Photo from Index Stock
- 0.2c:... as opposed to roasting - a.k.a. sun bathing. Inspiration came from a picture
that my mom pinned to the kitchen wall. It showed a gaggle of ladybugs, gathered on a piece of rotten wood. The latter, however looked much better
than this header image: ladybugs are not rat-sized.
- On-Line Period: July, 05th, 2005 - December, 31st, 2005
Version 9 - Thieving
- Type: Tables // recoded as pure CSS
- Featuring: Stock Photo from Index Stock
- 0.2c: It's a boy with a kite... a very weird kite. The picture was rather pixelly, but I rather liked the professional feel of it.
As far as coding goes: this is where I've learned to make pure CSS layouts. So much more fun than
tables - once you get the hang of positioning.
- On-line period: May, 03rd, 2005 - July, 05th, 2005
Version 8 - Stung
- Type: Tables
- Featuring: Stock Photos from Creatas
- 0.2c: I really wanted to make something abstract, but on the other hand quite easy to understand... The end result turned out much
too emo, and the rose (that red something on the book) got flattened. Due to my rush, I've even managed to make it much too small...*sighs* It really
WAS supposed to look different, and if possible induce a deep, meaningful and contemplative state... Oh well, so much for my philosophical side.
- On-Line Period: March, 30th, 2005 - May, 03rd, 2005
Version 7 - Enchanted
- Type: Tables
- Featuring: Digital Art from Amazing Terrains
- 0.2c: Debut of php includes and a new design concept. Gone were the celebrity layouts: this was a whole new era. Of course, like
every beginning it didn't turn out quite well, but you know: it's practice that makes perfect. I'm just sorry, that I couldn't do the image justice:
cut off toes and pillow edges...
