Past Layouts
Version 6 - Forgotten
- Type: Tables
- Featuring: Rory and Lorelei from Gilmore Girls
- 0.2c: ... and a 'poo'-colored background. Not that I really cared, since the colors went well, but others did. Coding-wise: I had
declared a war to divs... but I didn't know about valign="top", so I had tonnes of line breaks (i.e. <br> tags).
- On-Line Period: October, 15th, 2004 - December, 22nd, 2004
Version 5 - Lost Memories
- Type: I-Frames
- Featuring: Natalie Portman in Leon
- 0.2c: I just COULDN'T be the only one, never to have used a goth themed layout. Ingredients: young Natalie Portman playing a
disturbed girl with a gun, a photoshop brush of an ancient tomb and a very grey mood - I mean background. Had I also coded the transparent I-Frames
correctly, it might also have been cross-browser compatible... but that would have been too much to hope for.
- On-Line Period: September, 10th, 2004 - October, 15th, 2004
Version 4 - Attention Seeking Prat
- Type: messy CSS
- Featuring: Ayumi Hamasaki a J-Pop singer
- 0.2c: If everyone's using Hamasaki-san for their layouts, then everyone knows something I don't. It was coded in Dreamweaver,
which means that the coding was atrocious. It was also one of those layouts that valued pretty brushes more than readable text (color). What can I
say? I've been a new commer too.
- On-Line Period: July , 08th, 2004 - September, 10th, 2004
Version 3 - Guilty as Charged
- Type: messy CSS
- Featuring: CG anime-style art (site closed)
- 0.2c: I keep wondering why I chose this name, and come up with... nothing. Maybe the slightly mischievious smile of the girl? Or
maybe my past love for a '90s band named 'Caught in the Act'? I thought it looked 'cute', but all that purple started to become annoying after a
while.
- On-Line Period: May, 09th, 2004 - July, 08th, 2004.
Version 2 - Untitled
- Type: messy CSS
- Featuring: CG art (Little Bit) and
flowers (Aethereality)
- 0.2c: It was sliced, sweated for, not to mention drolled over. The owner of Little Bit is really talented... go visit her site.
Oh and don't do like me: use the images without permission. Since the site was in Japanese I just assumed she wouldn't know what to do anyway. Lucky
me, my site used to be visited by a total of... 2-3 people per week.
- On-Line Period: April, 16th, 2004 - May, 09th, 2004
Version 1 - Friendly Conversations
- Type: I-Frames
- Featuring: Anime girl with a dog
- 0.2c: My first layout, entirely unfunctional, but I really wanted to get started on blogging. Of course I mispelled the version
title and changing it would've meant changing the whole image. Good thing not many saw it. What can I say? I made every possible and impossible mistake
as a n00b.
- On-Line Period: early April, 2004 - April, 16th, 2004
