While the suggestions were rather good, she disregarded written content entirely, giving me the impression that she was browsing blindly. I find that a bit exaggerated.
First Impression: 4 out of 5
The background color is a little weird to me but I think it fits with the rest of the layout nicely. The images look good. I like the ones in the background. It has a nice picture look.
I don't really care about the background colour in itself, since I find that it matches.
Splash Page: -- out of 5
No splash page here. But I don't think a blog needs a splash page, so I will take this out of your overall score.
No it doesn't need one, but not because it's a blog. It looks the same in most browsers.
Navigation: 8 out of 10
You pretty much have the basic blog navigation. A little extra page about yourself and then links out. Everything is really easy to find, so no complaints. You might want to try to add a few more things to be a little more creative though. I didn't really see a lot of stuff here. All the subpages can be annoying to go to for a blog.

Like I said, I really like your graphics on this layout. I like the faded pictures of what I'd call "memories" and then the main character over them. I think you did a good job fading out the picture too. Like I said earlier, I don't really like the brown color you used for the background. Its not the most appealing color I've ever seen but at least it doesn't hurt my eyes. The links and font are easy to see. I think you should change your hover link though. It just matches in with the normal font color. I think it would have looked better if you had used the blue from her jeans for an example. I like the scroll bar but I think you should change the black-colored parts to white. It would match in with the layout a lot better than it does now. The font you used for the text is nice too. I like the black underneath it. Looks very pretty. On your subpages, you could used a little more space between the text and the borders. On some pages, the text is right up against the border.
Errors: 8 out of 10
Well, everything loads quickly. That's good. Your coding is a bit smashed together. I would add a few more spaces in there because it would make it easier to check out. All of your links open into new windows, so that's good. I didn't find any broken links. But one thing, I don't see why you linked one review place in your blog entry but not the other. Just seemed kind of weird to me.
Still the coding is correct, so why take away points? And I mention that some pictures are not links. As for the linking: ever considered reading the blog entry?
Overall:
You've got a nice layout here. Its not the most amazing thing ever, but it is pretty. I dislike the background color and I think that is my main complaint here. Its just an ugly color to be honest. Otherwise, everything is okay. Not great, but okay.
