The site looks really professional. No complaints at all really. It's nice.
Layout - 3/5
Not the greatest or most amazing layout. But again, it's professional. And it is definitly original. When I seen it, I thought it was from the game Sorry, which was cool, haha. But then on your About Me page, you brag yourself on being a web designer, so I would kind of expect more from someone who says "incredibly snobbish computer programmer, who likes to indulge in web design".
Well that's helpful: I now totally understand what is wrong with my layout. It's professional, definitely original and cool...
As for you other claim: Web DEVELOPER Ashley. In case you didn't know, that's the person who takes a design and writes a code for it.

Vera: It is very well written, but I would try to add in a few points, some basics, cause alot of people don't want to read the whole thing to find out a bit about you. Some just glance at the page to find out your age, or where you're from or what your favorites are so they can start up a conversation.
Tutorials: I don't understand what the point of this page is. It says tutorials but it just goes on about WPR [Web page reviews] and what they are about. So not only is this not a tutorial, theres only one of the so called tutorials. Tutorials [normally] tell you how to do something, explains it in a detailed way so that you can learn to do it yourself. This WPR thing is just what a review is all about and why/how people review. Not a tutorial in my opinion, nor would it be in most others.
Lianko: All very good information, but I don't know what got you into doing sites and web designing, which is also part of your profession am I right? I don't know where you came from, whether you started at piczo like most others, or if you just jumped into the domain. That sorta thing is often interesting.

That's true, I moved domains 6 months ago and was too lazy to update my past content. I agree: will have to upload all my old content (after rewriting it). I'll probably change the name to Articles.
HELL NO! I gave piczo and myspace a wide berth. Besides, does it matter? No you are not right: I'm a computer programmer, not a web designer. And yes, there's a huge difference.

Very original, some may have problems with the spelling, but thats fine.
It's short enough for it not to be a problem.

I can't really say that it's all that creative, its just a grey and red color scheme with some pawns on the corner. You didn't even code in a scrollbar [which looks better for us using IE]. Original, yes, but not all that creative.
Code a scrollbar? Why not an entire browser, while we're at that?
I have better things to do than use colored scrollbars (which are ANYTHING but creative and/or original). Besides, why should I code a layout which has features that are seen by less than 30% of my visitors?

Conslusion
Your site is very professional, your writing is witty and informative, but you only have 4 page, hardly anything if you ask me. I don't see any content at all, so you lost 15 marks there. I'm confused as to what you expect your visitors to take from your site? Some knowledge gained from your blogs? All in all, your site is amazing as far looks go, but thats about all it is, 'good looks'. Ohh and one other suggestion. Maybe go and visit other people's sites instead of just leaving a message in the comments. I wouldn't bother leaving you a comment if you weren't going to come to my site and leave me a message, it's only polite to visit their site in return.

Yes, I need to upload my past articles, I agree with that. But WHAT THE FUCKING HELL are you on about me not returning comments? Oh I'm sorry, did it occur to you to... um... actually check if I did or not comment on my commenters' sites? I do, by the way.
